Every horse has a story, and sometimes that story shows up as stiffness, poor performance, behavioral changes, recurring soreness, difficulty recovering from work, or simply the feeling that something "just isn't right." At Topline Animal Services, we begin by looking at the whole horse—not just the obvious symptoms. Every evaluation is individualized, considering movement, posture, compensation patterns, nervous system function, nutrition, management, and your horse's history. Whether your horse is a competitive athlete, recovering from injury, managing a chronic condition, or simply needs support as they age, our goal is to help identify contributing factors and develop a thoughtful plan that supports long-term comfort, function, and performance. 

 Bodywork is much more than massage—it's a way of listening to what the horse's body is communicating. Every appointment is tailored to the individual horse and may incorporate a variety of hands-on techniques designed to improve mobility, body awareness, comfort, and overall function. Depending on your horse's needs, sessions may include craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, neuro-myofascial techniques, acupressure, stretching, kinesiology taping, proprioceptive exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and other supportive modalities. No two horses are treated exactly alike because no two horses present exactly the same.

 In some cases, advanced recovery modalities can complement hands-on care and become valuable tools within a comprehensive treatment plan. Topline Animal Services offers supportive therapies including cryotherapy, ozone therapy, Equinew FES, infrared and red light therapy, and other modalities as appropriate for the individual horse. These therapies are never viewed as stand-alone solutions, but rather as part of a thoughtful, whole-horse approach that may be incorporated when they are appropriate for your horse's needs and goals. Collaboration with your veterinarian is encouraged whenever indicated. 

 Nutrition is one of the most powerful—and often most overlooked—pieces of the puzzle. Rather than recommending a one-size-fits-all feeding program, we evaluate each horse as an individual. Feed programs, forage, supplements, workload, body condition, metabolic concerns, age, environment, and management practices are all considered when making recommendations. Whether you're working through poor performance, chronic inflammation, weight management, metabolic disorders, gut health concerns, or simply want confidence that your horse's diet is meeting their needs, our goal is to provide practical, evidence-informed guidance that supports the horse from the inside out. 

 Education has always been at the heart of Topline Animal Services. We believe empowered owners make better advocates for their horses, which is why we offer owner-level Equine First Aid certification courses, Principles of Equine Nutrition classes, clinics, workshops, and educational presentations throughout the Southeast. Our goal isn't simply to teach owners what to do in an emergency—we want to help them better understand their horses, recognize problems earlier, communicate more effectively with their veterinary team, and make informed decisions that support lifelong health and wellness. 

 Every animal deserves the opportunity to move comfortably and function at its best. In addition to equine and canine patients, Topline Animal Services also provides bodywork and supportive care for select livestock, including cattle, goats, sheep, pigs, camelids, and other farm animals on a case-by-case basis. Whether supporting comfort, mobility, recovery, or overall function, each animal is evaluated as an individual with careful consideration given to their species, purpose, environment, and management.
