Ozone Therapy (available October 2025)

What is Ozone Therapy?

A safe, non-invasive way of using medical grade ozone to address a plethora of issues that we would see in everyday  or extended rehab cases. Instead of injections, Ozone is applied in ways such as ozonated oils/creams, topical applications (limb bagging), or suffusion to target areas of need.

What do we use it for?

>Musculoskeletal/Performance: Arthritis/joint discomfort, tendon/ligament injuries, Back soreness/muscle fatigue, recovery, post-surgical

>Neurological/Metabolic: EPM, Neuropathy, PPID/Cushings/IR/PSSM

>Hoof/skin: Abcesses, Thrush/white line, laminitis support, wound healing, skin infections/rain rot/allergies/hot spots

>Immune & systemic wellness: General immune support, Allergies/inflammatory conditions, Respiratory issues/COPD/heaves etc, Gut health and detoxification support

Equinew FES now available

FES System

The Equinew FES system (Functional Electrical Stimulation is a specialized tool designed to support rehab and performance in horses. Unlike a standard TENS unit that simply blocks pain signals, the FES system works by stimulating muscle contractions, helping to retrain neuromuscular pathways, improve circulation, maintain muscle tone, and encourage correct movement patterns. This is a therapy used to complement bodywork and rehab programs, promoting more effective recovery and long term soundness. VETERINARY APPROVAL IS REQUIRED FOR THIS THERAPY.

What do we use it for?

>Neurological conditions: EPM, wobblers, nerve injuries where retraining muscle firing patterns is important

>Muscle atrophy: Injuries, stall rest, uneven use

>Post -Injury rehab: to support correct movement and strengthening

>Back and topline development

>Gait reeducation

>Circulation and recovery
